Position Overview

A growing multi-state manufacturing and service organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead and scale its finance function. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who can bring structure, ownership, and forward-thinking financial leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory and manufacturing finance experience, proven ability to build systems and processes, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience preferred
• Background in manufacturing and/or service-based companies
• Strong expertise in inventory management and cost accounting
• Experience operating across multiple states
• Proven ability to build and improve financial systems and processes
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
• Experience managing and developing finance teams

  Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the overall financial strategy and planning of the company
  • Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and decision-making
  • Provide forward-looking insights to support scaling operations
  • Oversee accounting, FP&A, AR, AP, and revenue cycle functions
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting
  • Manage and optimize multi-state financial operations
  • Implement and upgrade financial systems and reporting tools
  • Build scalable processes to support continued growth
  • Improve visibility into inventory, margins, and operational performance
  • Lead and develop the existing finance team
  • Drive accountability and a full ownership mindset across the department
  • Oversee both onshore and offshore team members
