Join the City of Salida’s Public Works team and help shape how the community maps, manages, and maintains its infrastructure.

We are seeking a GIS Technician who enjoys working with spatial data, mapping technology, and infrastructure systems to support Public Works operations and City infrastructure projects.

This position works closely with the Public Works Director and provides GIS support to multiple City departments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update GIS maps and infrastructure databases
Collect, manage, and update spatial data related to City systems
Prepare maps, drawings, and as-built documentation for infrastructure projects
Assist with integrating GIS data into asset management and other City software systems
Provide mapping and data support to City departments and partner agencies

Hiring range: $29.00 - $35.00/hour dependent on experience.
