Job role : Business/ Data Analyst

Duration : Contract

Location : Remote

Type : Part-time ~20 hrs./week with ability to flex up as needed can also be done full time

We need an experienced consultant to manage the heavy lifting of the UAT testing, validating the business logic and the outputs, and communicating the gaps with the development team. Our internal team will assist with ensuring that the consultant understands the goal and existing logic implemented thus far, and validate preliminary findings prior to communication with the development team.

Core Responsibilities:

• User Enablement / Guidance Documentation: Summarize the logic implemented for our internal business users, and ensure the logic was implemented appropriately.
• Defect Triaging: Upon reviewing the existing test cases/scenarios/edge cases, log bugs accurately, track resolutions, and translate business feedback into technical requirements for the developers.
• Data Validation: Assist with heavy data reconciliation, specifically reviewing outputs from the new system, and running comparisons against legacy system data.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to track complex edge cases (prorations, co-terming, multi-year deals) and understanding of data architecture (objects/fields and interrelationships)
• Excellent communication skills to push back gently and keep internal stakeholders on track.
• Highly organized and self-directed.
