ABOUT THIS POSITION:

REMOTE | 9AM- 6PM EST

We're looking for an experienced video editor who thrives in high-volume, fast-turnaround environments. You'll be part of our 5-person video team editing direct response ads for Meta and Google across 20+ clients.

Most edits are 2-3 minute ads with captions (although we will get longer 8-20 minute VSL cuts sometimes) - some straightforward cuts, others more involved with b-roll and effects. You'll receive detailed briefs and be expected to execute with minimal creative direction. Our Lead Video Editor assigns work across the team including video review and direction on briefs; you'll always have something in the queue, whether first drafts or revisions for different clients.

You'll need to switch between projects efficiently - pausing a first draft to knock out revisions on another client, then pivoting back. This isn't a one-project-at-a-time role.

A DAY IN THIS ROLE:

Morning starts with a quick team standup - what's in progress, what's due, any blockers. You check your queue in ClickUp: a first draft due today for one client, revision notes that came in overnight for another, a new brief assigned for tomorrow. You knock out the revision first (small fixes, quick turnaround), then shift back to your first draft. Mid-afternoon, another revision drops in - you assess priority, adjust, keep moving. Communication lives in Slack (team coordination, urgent issues) and ClickUp (task management, briefs, feedback) - we're not a meetings-heavy culture. Throughout the month, you'll join periodic team trainings focused on skill development and new tools.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: 

● Edits are delivered on time with clean captions and no detail errors
● You manage your own workflow across multiple active projects without needing to be chased
● Revisions are turned around quickly and accurately
● You execute from briefs without needing extensive creative direction
● You're experienced (and building ongoing proficiency) with advanced AI-assisted ad creation tools (Higgsfield and others as we expand)

REQUIREMENTS:

● 3+ years video editing experience, ideally in advertising, direct response, or high-volume content production
● Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects
● Comfortable with async communication - we operate almost exclusively in Slack and ClickUp, not meetings
● Sharp attention to detail - especially captions (spelling, timing, accuracy)
● Experience in AI video tools for ad creation
● Comfortable working across multiple clients and projects simultaneously
● Can interpret a brief and execute without hand-holding on creative decisions
