Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic, hardworking Systems Engineer to support a new missile defense program.
In this role, you will report to the Systems Engineering Manager, and your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORS
Be accountable for developing, updating, coordinating, and supporting verification of a subsystem requirement specification
Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components all the way through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight test
Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
Support formal system design reviews
Support interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader system
Participate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts necessitating adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving program requirements and timelines across geographically dispersed locations
Use your excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to promote a positive teamwork culture

Basic Qualifications:
Experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
1. Systems Engineering approach and processes
2. Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
3. Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
4. Missile system analyses used in requirement derivation and verification
5. Planning and coordinating Hardware and/or software testing for verification
6. Performing System Integration
7. Support to major reviews
8. Writing Specifications
9. DOORS
Desired Skills:
Active or Current Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited college
Customer interface experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
1. Presenting at major reviews
2. Missile system experience
3. MatLab, and/or other or analysis tools
4. Hardware/Software Development
5. Missile or Weapon System Development
6. Performance, Functional, or Software
7. CONOPS or Architecture Development
8. Support to System Level trade studies
Technical leadership experience of small teams or projects
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
