Sheet Metal Mechanic (PER DIEM) Project is in Tallahassee, FL

We are hiring Sheet Metal Mechanics for a government project in Tallahassee, FL paying $32 an hour and $100 per day per diem, will be working Monday to Friday around 50 hours a week, project will start end of march and last 8 months, if interested APPLY NOW! What You’ll Do

As a Traveling Sheet Metal Mechanic, you’ll work on commercial, industrial, and large‑scale facilities, including:

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components (HVAC systems, ductwork, enclosures, structural assemblies)
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble metal using hand and power tools
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and job‑site standards
• Collaborate with crews on fast‑paced, deadline‑driven projects

First Shift

Pay: 32/hr

Per diem: 100/day worked

Monday to Friday around 50 hours a week

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic
• Ability to get onto a government site
• Ability to travel for extended assignments (weeks at a time)
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Experience with fabrication tools (brakes, shears, presses, grinders)
• OSHA or other safety certifications a plus (not always required)
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented attitude

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
