Security Guard (Floating Position)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Northern Ave. & 75th Ave.)
Pay Range: $17 - $19hr

Schedule: Evening and overnight shifts available. Overnight shift differential offered where applicable.

We're looking for a Security Guard to support multiple Mint Cannabis locations, keeping our facilities, employees, and patients protected with vigilance, professionalism, and a calm presence. This floating position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable traveling between assigned locations, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment wherever they're needed. From monitoring entrances to responding quickly to incidents, your role is key in keeping Mint secure and compliant.

• Conduct perimeter checks and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and facility access to ensure only authorized personnel and customers are on-site
• Enforce all security protocols, company policies, and state cannabis compliance requirements
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and helping staff and patients feel at ease
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities
• Travel between assigned Mint Cannabis locations to provide security coverage and operational support. 

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of one year of security experience required; retail, event, facility, or cannabis security experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required, as this is a floating position supporting multiple Mint Cannabis locations. A gas stipend is provided for eligible travel. 
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card
• A positive, helpful attitude — you’re the first and last impression for many guests
