Medication Technician The Carriages of Mt. Zion is growing our TEAM and we are currently looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking hard-working, dedicated individuals to work alongside a talented and focused nursing TEAM who enjoy working together and love serving our Residents on the 7pm-7am shift. The CMA group is TEAM motivated and pride themselves on providing compassionate, person-centered care to our Residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication reminders, treatments and other care while encouraging selfcare and independence. * Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards. * Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans. * Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned. * Assists with laundry service. * Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures. * Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of experience
• CNA certification with a Certified Medication Aide Certificate is required.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred but not required.
