Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the greater Jessup, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machinery and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, gear boxes, motors, packaging machinery, etc.
• Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders and interface with production personnel in troubleshooting or design improvements.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts as required.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment.
• Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.

Essential Skills

• Prior manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills a plus.
• Ability to read manufacturers' documentation and parts schematics.
• Basic computer skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, MD.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
