The Environmental Services department at Cambridge Health Alliance is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and sanitized environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. Our team plays a critical role in infection prevention and control by meticulously maintaining all hospital spaces, from patient rooms to operating theaters and common areas. Through our commitment to cleanliness and rigorous sanitation standards, we help ensure the highest quality of care and promote the well-being of our entire hospital community.
Responsibilities
Clean patient rooms using the 7 steps of cleaning method
Perform hard floor care and utilizes approved floor care procedures.
Uses proper technique for terminal cleaning in the Operating Room.
Performs carpet and upholstery care, utilizing approved carpet and upholstery care standard procedures.
Qualifications
High school/GED
6 months experience is required; 1 year preferred.
Must be able to read and write English and follow simple instructions.
Newly hired candidates are required to successfully complete a job specific agility test
