Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Do you want extra hours without the stress of hunting for shifts every week? Interim HealthCare of Bowie is actively hiring GNAs for facility assignments near our Bowie office, with steady openings available across all shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Personal care and hygiene needs of the client
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Observe client and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment

A few must-haves for Geriatric Nursing Assistants:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Maryland Nursing Assistant licensure | GNA license
• Minimum of 2 year GNA experience
• CPR BLS certification
• FLU vaccination
• COVID Vaccination
• Recent physical exam
• TB/PPD/CHEST XRAY and a negative symptom screening
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
