We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
WHAT DOES AN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST DO?
The top priorities will be keeping up to date with calls and reports and dealing with past-due accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to handle pressure and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of this position, a people-oriented person who can communicate at high levels would be best suited. The performance will be measured by how much time it takes to collect from shipment date, timeliness, and accuracy of month end, and how much past due invoices are. Monthly financial reporting, cash application, and GL support will be necessary. Opportunities for advancement could include an Accountant or Senior Collection Specialist, depending on the individual's interest and educational background.
