Overview of Role/Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams-including Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering-the Business Analyst I gathers and analyzes business data, identifies trends, and helps improve operational efficiency and product performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for technology and SaaS business models.

Essential Duties:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal systems (e.g., CRM, product usage, billing platforms, engagement platforms).
• Assist in the development of dashboards and reports to monitor key SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, churn, CAC, LTV).
• Support business case development for new product features, pricing changes, or operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical tasks.
• Document business processes and workflows to support process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide data insights and support strategic planning.
• Assist in ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from leadership and department heads.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 0 2 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role (internships included).
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and key performance indicators.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Twilio, Sendgrid Looker).
• Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
