Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, Shift Supervisor, and/or Shipping and Receiving Lead, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for:
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pulling, picking, and staging products according to digital pick sheets, invoices, or RF scanner directions.
Shipping & Receiving: Verifying incoming freight against packing slips, unloading deliveries, safely staging inventory, and securely packing outbound shipments for transit.
Facility Care: Maintaining a clean, debris-free workspace by organizing pallets, sweeping walkways, disposing of packaging materials, and updating bin locations.
Equipment Operation: Operating and performing routine daily checks on warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, and tape machines.
Inspection & Compliance: Visually inspecting incoming goods for damage, completing quality control checklists, and following OSHA safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 4 hours at one time
Skills
